History
The name PopeOnABomb stems from a drawing a created in my high school art class. Eventually, I graduated and arrived at Oklahoma State University (which I have since graduated from) and found myself in need of an AIM screen name. I wanted something unique - and PopeOnABomb stood out.
On April 7th, 2003 I started my Xanga blog, which for a while became quite popular and regularly made the “Featured Content” cut. For a while I logged 2,500 unique visitors a month. But eventually life changed, I decided to improve my GPA, and I had to cut down the on the bloggin.
I still have a passion for blogging, but I also have a well paying job as the head of IT for a company in San Francisco, California (as though there is a San Francisco some other place that might confuse you).
Until I’ve managed to archive 5 years worth of blogs here, you can check out the real deal at: PopeOnABomb on Xanga.
